last one I read was Autobiography of an Idea by louis sullivan, “father” of the modern skyscraper and architect of the prudential/guaranty building downtown (among many prominent others)

All the books by Stephen Koontz or Coontz, can’t remember. The guy has a series of books with a character named Jake Grafton who is an ex military guy and he has lots of crazy adventures that make you feel like you’re right there, my favorite is “Hong Kong”.
bourne idetity…before it was made a movie. i have bourne supremacy also, but i fall asleep easily while reading.
It’s been bugging me, and a thread sparked by our generation thinking that well-read means you have acounts on multiple forums seemed like a good place to rant.
Reading Omnivore’s Dilemma now. I’m going to switch to fiction after this, although school is starting so who knows when that will be.
After all the “book” threads, and the titles you’ve listed and opinions you’ve stated, I have a hard time believing you’ll ever read real literature.

dave you should pick up a copy of “It’s Your Ship” by Captain D Micheal. Great book in regards to managment & leadership. Navy captain. Not the usual corporate BS.
