So anyone into books at all ?

Well i’ll be finishing up my night class this week and i’ll have some more free time to kill. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on interesting books that they have read or intent to read. Books such as Catch-22, anything by Orwell, one flew over the cuckoo’s nest, a clockwork orange, I used to enjoy Clancy…and series such as Dune. Though out some good ones…or just comment on how reading sucks

Catch-22 - decent ska band that plays live a lot in Rochester

Orwell - Doesnt he make popcorn?

one flew over the cuckoo’s nest - sounds like my ex girlfriends

a clockwork orange - messed up movie. rent it.

Clancy - decent video games esp when you can go shoot up vegas

do they run on Win XP?

Have you read all of Clancy’s stuff yet? If so and you can dig  I’d go with some Patrick Robinson, similar vein.

If you aren’t a hippie, check out Atlas Shrugged.

Read the Dune series again, I plan to do so.

chuck palahniuk.
he writes fucked up shit. it’s good.

Running with scissors and Dry were good, kinda wacked out, but good.

Atlas Shrugged is good, but its over 1k pages and kinda a tough read, but if you like books on socialism and such, you will most likely enjoy it.

a couple good entertaining summer reads would prolly be Bright Lights, Big City by Jay McInerney & On the Road by Kerouac…

man

i’m gonna go get this shit out again and read them

Yah I plan on reading over the books I have again which is quite the selection…I read about 90% of Clancy’s books but the latest started to bore me for some reasons. Thanks for the suggestions guys! Oh and FUCKING HIPPIES…I was also thinking about re-reading the sword of truth series i read when i was younger by um …Terry Goodkind I believe…its a sci-fi kinda like Harry Potter type deal but more d&d like . Yah I’m a nerd o well…I tend to like books about socialism actually…sometimes I daydream that could actually make a change in the world, which would make life so much better…then reality hits me and I realize I’ll just buy my house in suburbia, do burn outs in my vette, piss off my ritzy neighbors and drink beer on the week ends

Anything by Greg Iles. www.gregiles.com

I have read them all.
