I highly doubt someone is going to steal your design, and if they do, who cares? Your design isn’t going to make the house worth 100x more than others due to it being unique compared to a similar house with the same sq/ft and so forth. It actually, might make it worth less. Weren’t you moving to the West Coast anyway?

Whether I move out to Arizona or stay here hasnt been decided yet, irregardless Im still going to want to build a house whether its in NY or AZ.
