Just wondering if I f’d something up or maybe it’s time to cash in my infraction points. I posted a decent thread on designing/engineering a reverse gear box when working with a motorcycle engine for a project I’m doing, and that was around 10 am. It said it needed approval. Can I not post there anymore? I tried IM’ing two mods that were online but neither would reply.

If you’ve noticed the Tech section went through (and is still going through) a major cleanup. A lot of the threads in theory and the main section were “oh crap my car doesn’t start” type threads, or similar that had nothing to do with real theory/idea discussion.
Now that the sections are cleaned up, we want to keep it free of the normal everyday stuff so to speak. To do this, we are monitoring new threads. Threads that are not theory oriented will be moved to a more appropriate section. You can still post to existing threads as you would normally.
Approved threads will show up where you posted them. If your thread wasn’t approved, it doesn’t mean it was lost. It will be moved to it’s proper section and a redirect will be displayed (arrows with “Moved to”).
You can still start new threads in auto electronics and “OH SHIT IT’S BROKE!” normally (without approval).
