I found some random tools and a stock scissor jack and went out to check it out. Here is a pic, clicky for larger image:
Sorry for the muddy quality, it’s a cell phone pic, but I think it is showing that the upper ball joint is disconnected from the upper control arm. It doesn’t look too bad per the diagram, so if I find the tools I need I’ll try it myself, but some help wouldn’t hurt at all.
