Called Verizon today to get the # I wanted for the pizzeria and they told me I couldn’t have it.I told them that it wasn’t in service and hasn’t been for at least 2-3 months maybe longer.They said they knew that but it wasn’t their # to give out???I asked whose it was and she said she didn’t know.
So I asked her for a different # and she said that was part of a “block” owned by another phone company but said she couldn’t say who.
If anyone knows how I can get this #,I’ll give you $100 for your troubles/help.

there, finally got it to post right. basically what its saying is that those 3 are verizon numbers, not some other (phone) compaines.
as far as getting the top one, id either call again, or try to port it into another carrier.
as weird as it is, if no one is using the number, there are no checks to see if the port is correct, it just does it. (ive done it before, unused sprint number to VZW)

the only thing it really means is that all 3 lines are verizon owned. the one they are saying isnt their’s might belong to a reseller - kinda like tracfone is to wireless.
either way, i might know of a grey area way to get the one that isnt being used.
basically, port the number into a cell phone company, prepaid would prolly be better, something like virgin mobile. fake all the info needed for the port, see if it works. it might take a week or two to go from landline to wireless. then if it works, port that back to vz landline. you can get a virgin mobile phone from walmart to use prolly pretty cheap, just double check that you can return it after you open the package. you wont get airtime returned to you, but thats a minimal cost.
