Well im starting school soon and want to purchase a laptop. I dont know much about computers and i dont know what to really look for. trying to keep it under 1k. If you know of any good deals, or anything i should look for please help me out.

Yeah, I’ll second the dell laptops. I got mine just after Christmas when they were doing the mega coupons.
2ghz, 1 gig ram, dvd burner, 128meg video, 60 gig drive, 15.4 display, 1100 after shipping.
Just search google for “dell coupons”. I spent about 15 minutes searching different sites and managed to find $500 off $1500.
