ok guys, I am not sure what happen…but yesterday my 95 maxima starts to make some weird noise from the engine. WHen i pop the hood, it sounds like its from the fuse box. THe noise is more noticable inside the car, sounds like some electrical buzzing. Also the noise only occur when my headlight is in off/marker position and will not make any noise when its fully turn on. I suspect its the fuse? or might be my drl relay. Any input will be greatly appreciated.
Sounds like a DRL relay. Touch the relay while its making noise. If its vibrating, then it is the relay…if you replace the relay and the problem still exists…you probably have a ground in the circuit somewhere.
yup definately sounds like the relay…my buddie had that problem b4…replace it and u’ll be fine:R
I had the same problem with my dad’s 99 maxima…it was a fried headlight harness…I bought a new harness, spliced it into place…and now the noise is gone
