So I am trying to do my brothers brakes on his damn 08 Saab 9-3. The problem I have is that it requires a female torx socket which is about the equivalent of say a 5/8 socket. Unfortunately the only socket I could find so far has been at sears with a craftsman universal 3/8 drive socket. I was successfully able to change the one side with this but snapped the ratchet when attempting to get the other sides caliper bracket off.
Does anyone know where I can find 1 of 2 things. Either a female torx or universal socket that would be for a 1/2 drive equal to a 5/8 socket or where I can get an impact 3/8 to 1/2 adapter. (assuming the impact style wont snap.

I believe E20 is the socket size I need in a 1/2 drive.

Apparently sears has a 1/2 to 3/8 impact drive. Going to give that a try.
