haha seriously
Just regrounded and repowered the whole unit. Still locked up. The guy at autometer told me it could be a draw out from my altenator holding it up in lock mode. I really have no idea. I also wired it up and had it reading to my trinity and it just showed 00.00, so i really have no clue.
You’re fucked.

Tell the guy at Autometer you are sending it back and expect a new one.
Actually they don’t…the original sensor Nick bought was for the LC-1.
Pull another car up along side yours, start that one, and plug it into that cars power. You said it was a cig lighter socket or something right???
Then start your car and see what it says.
completely take your cars electrical system out of the loop.
OR, get another fully charged battery and just put the leads to the terminals and see what happens.
OR, toss a volt meter on the power and ground, while you start the car and see what the voltage does. then call back autometer and tell them what you find.
tell them to overnight you a new unit and tell them they fucked up your whole weekend and are losing money because you flew your tuner out and got a hotel for him and now its there fault
Hello Nick,
I have one last thing to try to let me know if it is in the gauge or not.
Power the gauge up, but do not start the engine. Let it count down. (If it does not immediately count down, hit the mode to bypass the heater and begin count down) Once it has counted down, it should display the leanest setting on the gauge. Default is 16.0:1 but it will be different if you changed it.
If it shows 16.0 then the gauge itself is functioning ok, and we would need to look elsewhere. If it displays 14.7-15.0, then there is a problem with the gauge itself. If so, you can send only the gauge in to our service department using the attached form.
Let me know if you need any further assistance.

Reply i got. Trying to get a new one for free.
PLX Devices WB02, FJO or Zeitronix for the average enthusiast.
It’s the same sensor, different plug. Don’t sass me. :lol
Dear Mr. Logik,
While we at KrazyKid Gauges make it out duty to provide you the customer with the up-most support and extend our efforts to fairly compensate the customers for mistakes we may have made during the purchase or production of our merchandise, we will deny your claim for punitive compensation in the form of reimbursement for your tooners stay at the Crown Plaza becasue your car was incomplete prior to your engagement to tune the vehicle. We feel it is not KKG’s problem that you booked a tune date prior to verifying that your car is in proper running and operating order. Furthermore you didnt provide us with proof or purchase of said tooner, or hotel stay.
Sincerely,
Joe Bob.
Wait, you’re trying to run this off of a cig lighter? Anyway, the unit is junk and I’m guessing your grounds are shit too. Try powering/grounding it right to the battery. Call me with any questions man
I’m obviously a huge FJO supporter but it’s nearly impossible to get a new one these days. Holley bought them out and they sell them under the Holley name for about 4x too much, that’s about the only way. Zeitronix software is far superior anyway.
I powered it to the battery terminal directly and grounded it in the engine bay as well. It appears to just be a lost cause. Im not to happy seeing as i need a wideband to be tune for my race next friday
That sucks Death, keep your head up I hope this gets sorted out in time for your race.
Ordered a new one. Threw the other one in the garbage. FUUUU auroneter.
I have an Innovate LC-1 you can use if you really need one asap. The sensor was powered and used for around 1,000 miles.
