Need wheel opinions, please

So yeah. I just bought a set of 16x7 et24 / 16x8 et24 BBS RS’s to throw on the MR2. Here are the ones I bought.

To start off: I already bought the wheels. I know that some of you don’t like these wheels, think the $200 knockoffs are a better buy, don’t think expensive wheels are smart, etc. etc. That’s perfectly fine, everyone is entitled to their opinion and I’ll be glad to talk about them in person or in another thread. This thread I’d love to keep just to suggesting color schemes. Thanks.

The lips are being filled (sliiiight curbing) and polished as we speak, I plan on buying new BBS centercaps and repainting the centers of the wheels sliver.

So here’s the parts of the wheels that are 100% (not up for discussion, being done as we speak/in the near future):

-Fully polished lips
-Silver centers (mesh part of wheel that the lips are bolted to)
-Silver OUTSIDE part of centercaps (the part that looks like it’s part of the wheel

The “variables”:

-Color of bolts
OPTIONS:
Gold
Chrome

-Color of big “cover” in the center of the wheels (with BBS sticker on them)
OPTIONS:
Gold (only if gold bolts)
Chrome (to match lips)
Silver (to match “mesh” of wheel)

-Color of BBS sticker itself
OPTIONS:
Black with gold lettering (only if gold bolts and cover)
Black with silver lettering
“Chrome” with silver lettering
So there’s two variables here. The color of the bolts and the color of the “BBS” sticker

Pics of a lot of different combo’s (some are not BBS RS’s but you get the point):

I like how from far away you can’t really tell, it’s more of a subtle detail:

but not with the polished center:

with a lighter color silver center:

I know they’re very minute details, but I spent a good chunk of change on these and the bolts and centers have to be redone anyways so might as well make the most of it.

Any opinions (RELATED TO THE SUBJECT) are welcome

Do it im like 'em alot for your ride but seriously if you do detailing you really need to get that pinkish hze or faded red look taken care of… and the swirl marks but GLWT rims kid.

i like the second pic all silver with gold bolts.+1!!!

yeah definitely my favorite scheme so far

gold bolts, silver center, polished lip /thread

Is there any way to get the bolt and/or center’s red? Would definitely pop on your car.

okay but what about the “BBS” itself? black with gold letter? black with silver letter?

+1 wow, never thought of that…+rep to chuck, if i didn’t already neg him yesterday :lol

yeah there is, it’s called paint :lol

just kidding. that would look good, but i’m not going for that look, more of a “classy” look.

yeah there will be no red on these wheels.

Very clean and tasteful right here. I would not be liking any gold on your car.

OEM Finish, with the FLAT CAPS… also did you get the RS Center cap tool with the wheels? RS’ are some nasty wheels. i know a place you can get all the hardware, lips, etc.

You would have to anodize the bolts.

i like the black sticker with the silver letters. Gold letters wouldnt be bad either. The chrome with silver letters just looks too plain to me.

I think I like the first ones you posted but thats just me. I’m loving stepped lips naow. But I’m bias.

gold bolts, gold center bbs piece, black w gold bbs sticker, red spokes, polished lips. end game.

That sounds pretty sick. Just need pics of that now lol.

+1
