so I have this taillight that I want to use but it’s got a couple medium sized holes (bigger one about an inch long).
is there any plastic-based epoxies or tail-light repair kits anyone knows about/have used?
I’m pretty good with sculpting/molding/finishing so all I need is ideas for materials.
I would much rather fix it myself than shell out for a new assembly just because the lens is cracked.
so the lens is cracked? or the housing?
if its the housing it ain’t gotta be too pretty, and you can just plastic weld it. as far as the lens goes, if its cracked i wouldn’t bother trying to fix it, as it’ll never look that great.
yeah, it’s the lens.
both cracked and missing pieces.
I taped it for now as a placeholder but I found some cheap used OEMs on ebay for low price, so I’ll just replace it.
