hey guys just a warning to you all thinking of buying from autoshop cannonball R…DONT DO IT! if you ask for a warrenty they will give it to you but if the warrenty has to come into effect they will fuck u over!! their shop is ghetto with shitty parts all over the place, it was like waling into a junk yard! and if any people from cannonball read this i will be posting this on every forum and i wont stop until my money is returned!

heres what happened, i buy a turbo get told it had 50,000 k on it (k that seems good then) i fiddle with turbo and iots all in spec, so i ask them if i can get a gurentee that it wont smoke and if it does i get my money back! they gave me 100% garrentee that if it smokes i get my money back, so i put it on, it smokes like a banshee…i call them up and say that i am sending it back and want my cash back and the bust out…you didnt get a certified shop to install it…oh really? i wounder how certified their mechanics are???

I don’t understand how being a certified mechanic would have helped. I mean, unless you opened the turbo up and messed with the internals, how can you f*ck up a turbo? Smoking engine = oil leakage inside turbo, something that is totally (To my knowledge) unaffected by the installation of the turbo itself.

Hmm i bought my HICAS canceller from him and he semmed really nice. Gave me a huge discount off what it was listed for on the web. Shipped it out very quick and have not had a problem with it yet.

my friend bought his silvia from cannonball-r. he bought HKS gauges from them since the two gauges in the car didn’t work. took a long time to get them, and while he was waiting, he also bought a downpipe which i don’t think has come yet. he received his car in july 2004, btw.
