I highly doubt they would be putting the LS7 in their bargain vette.
one of the articles badazz posted before had one of the GM guys saying something along the lines of “it will be getting the LS2, but we have an extra 100hp option if need be” Pretty much saying they will put the LS7 in it. Plus they are going to be comming out with the blue devil so its not like the LS7 camaro would be bitting at the heels of their top vette.
but even their top of the line camaro shouldn’t be walking their cheap vette. I don’t see it happening.
This is also the millionth rendition of the car I have seen. Of course, the GTO already has the LS2, so good thing they are killing it off.

It always has, nothing will change now. It will get the same engine with a “slightly more restrictive exhuast”, be listed 5hp under the vette and away ya go, nothin new there. The LS7 or whatever replaces it would probably be available in the top model, but not right away, as there is supposed to be a delay between its initial launch and its top model. And it will be priced the same as a stang, so where ever the stang prices goes, Id imagine this will follow.

and anyway even if they DONT use the LS7, you can buy it as a “crate” motor right from GM anyway. Im sure if they decided not to use it there is someone out there who would put an LS7 into one anyway 
or whatever the LS8 is going to be…6.6 liter again? maybe…no?
between this, the stang, and the challenger, seems that the “pony car class” has become the “retro pony car class” :gotme: but I like the old ponies - so it’s all good heah.

Thats the thing. I like the look of it right now, but by the time it makes production is will be a very very cheap looking version of that car. Its GM.
Ford did the same thing with the new Mustang. The prototype was beautiful but then they came out with the production version and it was severely watered down. Bottom Line > Cool Cars
that car is way too cool. Hopefully they won’t change much if/when it hits the streets.
won’t be long till this concept is made into an awfull ugly slow, heavy car that no one wants

those pics have stayed quite consistent for the past 6 months or so, so i doubt they are going to change it much now… i like them better then the new mustangs fo sho and that engine bay is sooo sexy.
