New car

I should have said “it reminds me off”. Regardless, I won’t do a skyline at all.

So even a new one is out.

Corvette C5?
BMW New M3/M6 335i?
Ferrari?
Aston Martin?

Double the amount of pounds to get the dollar value.

Not much left.

I think you would be VERY happy with a new 335i coupe. 1000$ chip thats from BMW and wont void the waranty puts it upto 400wtq and about 380whp.

It’s not a supercar but it’s about 50K brand new, very well loaded, and now even come in a hard top convertible with BMW 5 year, 50,000 mile worry free maintanane. For those 50,000 miles all you pay for is gas and tires, everything including oil changes is covered.

Yeah 335i lightly modded would be a nice ride…

If you wait 2-3 years, you could pick up an '08 R8 possibly for 90K.

It’s the first year out so who knows about reliability, but an Audi shouldn’t be as $$ to maintain as a Ferrari…
After a couple of years you can see how the reliability and ownership costs are.

I think MSRP is 110K right now, not sure what they’re really going for, but I bet it’s a premium…
Not like I’m in the market or anything :lol

Anyways, it’s something different, exotic looking (in my opinion), and hopefully not a bank breaker for maintenance…

Well, if the rare ones won’t do it for you, yeah I’d agree with the 335i. For practical fun, it’s hard to beat.

Either that or man up and get a newer Porsche. ASton martin, corvette, bmw, yeah yeah yeah.
When you own a Porsche, you didn’t just buy some glitzy halo car to spice up the rest of the lineup.
Either Ferrari or Porsche puts you in an entirely different class of ownership.

My vote is for a turbo Porsche

if you already have 90k, 20k more is peanuts

Apparently he doesn’t like Porsche…tisk tisk. How about a new Audi S5 and put 30k in the bank? 4.2L V8, 6 speed manual, super luxurious, comfortable…everything you could ask for. It’s “fast enough” and anywhere it pulls up it gets respect.

So Shawn make up your mind?

Leaning towards M3 or AMG. I have no time right now with a few projecs I have going on to even think about it. Probably a good idea to consider buying due to the weather tho.

You drive around the 3000gt in the city?

Manhattan? No. Never.

It has seen Westchester, Bronx, and Long Island.

How about this Shawn:

get yourself an e46 m3, drop it off here:

http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/price/BMW/M3/HorsepowerFreaks/Turbos/Turbo_Kits/part/HPF_750

$16k later you have all the comfiness of a pristine e46 m3, with a turbo kit you will NEVER have to worry about, I have NEVER seen an aftermarket company have SO MUCH attention to detail, and thorough r&d for any product on any vehicle prior to this turbo kit.

like ever, read up on it a bit if you’re interested, it truly is incredibly impressive.

and you can bump to stage 2 with meth injection and be over 650whp on a STOCK LONGBLOCK. with meth and race gas.

I have that RIGHT now on a stock block and I don’t want it.

True story. :nod

Just a suggestion :banana

Well Shawn, it seems like you’re having some difficulty deciding, what would be a Smart purchase for you.

its most likely the closest thing to driving your honda that you could get to.

Hah. I don’t have that tight of parking.
