Oneidas zapped them.
thats the problem, buffalo will fuck anything up, a casino may seem like a good idea now but not in the future, it’s too late now but if anyone thinks a casino will do anything for the local economy or revitalize an area then put it on the empty land near the outer harbor, maybe the bethlehem steel site
the issues needed to revitalize this areas economy are far deeper and cant be solved by putting up a seneca nation casino. some sides might benefit but other parts will lose.
UB should have been built down on the waterfront property.
or done more around the south campus
These comments are of no help.
Of course, this entire discussion is pointless…
My whole point in posting this was to make fun of the people who think that anyone gives a shit about grain elevators.
it is too late, yet another thing buffalo screwed up
I really hope someone built the buffalo waterfront
Well obviously I don’t have a solution to the problem or I would have stated it by now. Pointless yes, but it fills part of my workday so  to that.
okay, so there was a point.
my point about the lack of a point was in reference to the idea that these people might get a point across to the city’s government. There is no point because at this point there are too few people to care enough about any particular point to get it on any agendas… see my point?
Exxxxactly.
I agree with you on this. Maybe if they are so historical to some they could move one to a museum, but otherwise tear them down and start fresh.
this isnt concrete central at the end of smith street is it?
i remember them posting signs for some historic bullshit there.
Point taken.
SO far I see people holding signs, and a bunch of others I am assuming are OFFICIALS. No ball swingin yet
Knock the fowker down, there are plenty of grain elevator eye sores around. They are real useful… Casinos will help the city, it will keep regular gamblers money in the US and buffalo instead of going to Canada and the Falls to gamble.

I’d said
demolish the Grain Elevators! is just history
edit: they are ugly as fuck
i had no idea there were that many of them.
CC is safe for now
knocking everything thing and somehow hoping that by taking the grain elevators down will automatically regenerate this area makes no sense. look at other cities that did the same thing
