I’m replacing the rusted out cowl at the moment. The block is at the machine shop getting cleaned and honed. I’m putting an amc 327 from a 65 Marlin in place of the 287 it came with. Its a four door but I like it. There are some photos at the flickr link above. I haven’t put any recent photos on the computer yet. I hope to have it somewhat mobile by the end of the month. I dont want to take the firebird apart until the amc is at least able to drive up and down the driveway.

This is the car as I picked it up. Those are a couple of friends.

Thats a pretty clean platform to start out with. Are you building it in a garage? If you need someone to lend you a hand drop me a line.
