New Guy, 1998 T/A WS6

:rimshot::cry:
Welcome aboard! Feel free to join in our cruises come springtime!

I love the loudmouth on my car, but I’ve heard once you combo it with longtubes they sound terrible. Here’s a few pics from right before I rescued it from the armpit of America :slight_smile: I didn’t have the car long enough before winter to clean it up how I wanted and get pics.

And before anyone asks, yes the car came with single exhaust from the factory! I thought that was unreal.

Nice, i bought my car stock it had dual tips, but its a 2000, i bought a magnaflow catback which makes cruising so much more fun. This spring i should have full exhaust possibly a cam. I have a friend who has SLP LM1 with full exhaust doesnt sound bad its very very loud though. Cant wait til spring hopefully we will see you around.

98 WS6s and SSs had single outlet exhaust stock

Wat…

I’ve never seen or heard of that.

Edit: I guess only the non-upgraded WS6 or SS’s came with the single in 98. Man that’s werid.

where in Amherst, I’m sure we have had this conversation since I know the name from UNYCGP (I’m terrible with screen name to face). Seems to be a common path for Grand Prix owners?

For awhile, if you lived anywhere in the Amherst area you wouldn’t see my car, but you would hear it.

yup, I had a bone stock 28k mile 98 WS6 and it was single, it sounded decent but I didnt care for the way it looked

Yah I think I told you or someone else once on UNYCGP, I live off of Chestnut Ridge Rd. I liked my GTP a lot but had to have the 6spd and V8 sound. Funny that you mention it, I’ve gotten a ticket in the WS6 for my LM1 exhaust on Sweethome Rd :spank:
