New Guy

nice car man. I am the n2o camaro they are talking about.

I am looking at doing a similar build this winter, but with a lq9 built for boost with a big single. I still have alot of things to figure out to make it happen. I am just tired of filling bottles and 600rwhp isnt cutting it anymore. We have some pretty fast cars here. I am pretty interested to check your car out when you get local.

Buncha slow shit.

do a high hp n/a set up on ur ls1. those setups for 500whp are pretty nasty out of just a 346 cube motor, n/a 500ish probly feels more vicious then 600 spray? just an idea even tho the 500 setups seem pricey

only difference is that he has a ton of money drew lol…clearly

500rwhp n/a would not feel more viscous then 600rwhp on the 150 shot.

have you ever rode in a car that spraying? It doesnt feel like anything other then just a big power n/a car already.

500/600 or even 700rwhp isnt going to keep me in the game around here anymore. Sure, 4 years ago 600rwhp for around here were huge numbers. Now its not even. I need 800rwhp +. Whats the easiest way to get that? Forged lq9 with a big single.

Forged LQ9/LQ4 or any other decent cube motor, any F-Series supercharger, YSI or a GT-4788 would be my first choice since I’m getting close to 800 now…its not going to be enough soon. You can do it pretty easily. PM me if you want…I have a ton of tricks and combos that will work.

woa excuse me n02 god, no i havent cause when ive been in ur no2 car the spray doesnt work! hene why i said go n/a? its always thier…and sorry i wassnt aware that N/A 500whp in our 346 cube cars is "slow

Its deff not slow! Its just dependent on what “level” you want to fall into. Higer hp is easier with FI.

See why I hate my car now

btw; nick when are you getting the car back?

Welcome, and nice setup! Maybe my turd will be out for a few digs this coming season…

500rwhp by no means is slow. Especially from a 346 thats revving out to 8k+. Its pretty sick.

however, its not enough for what I want. Ever since I was 17, I always wanted to have a turbo camaro SS. A turbo camaro SS is my “super car” if you get what im saying. I have the experience and the knowledge to do it, so why not? I have a number in my head, and I simply cant make it on my current setup, or even a 454 lsx.

the cheapest route that I wanted to do at first, my just put a forged rod/piston setup with arp bolts in my current motor and smack it with a 300 shot. Then I began thinking about it more and it does suck filling bottles. I have already spent over 1k on filling bottles in the last year.

between selling my current motor, my nitrous kit, my long tubes etc. that would fund 75% of my build. It would fund 100% of a forged lq4/lq9 build and pay for my hotside and maybe even the turbo. I still have some things to figure out on what I want to do, but big things are happening this winter and who knows how long the car will be down for.

Welcome and sweet set up

welcome…nice #'s…should make for some interesting runs when you get back home(safely)

Thanks guys. I should be running 24ish psi then if all goes as planned. I also should be getting retuned next week to see what she makes on 17ish psi. I guess there’s more of a car scene around then I imagined lol I’ll make sure I post videos from this week.

Where in Cali you from? What track you run at?

I run at Barona which is a 1/8th usually and sometimes Fontana which is a 1/4th but has horrible D/A. I live in Encinitas which is like 35min north od SD.

San Diego and their perfect weather can fall off of this country for all i care

nice car and impressive numbers.

Trust me SD is ok at best. I can’t hunt worth a shit out here and most of my guns need to stay in NY cause their not legal here lol. The only things I really enjoy is the ocean cause I spear fish and do other ocean sports and the car scene. I plan on buying a house back in NY within the next year hopefully. Who’s the best LS Tuner around back home?
