no doubt, prolly like 75% :ugh: It sucks too cause my friend (obviously white) has had some REVERSE discrimination on her. She went to the closest Western Union which happened to be in Alabama, to get the $500 I was sending her to get her thru a few days, and they put up a sign saying closed, right in front of her face, and continued to service the 3 other people (who were black) that were in the store. After she came back in they still refused to service her.
like i said…its all priorities…people today are so hooked on what other people think about them & are worried abotu material things…
its all people white, black, rich, poor, male, female…
from the ghetto guy that whats wheels on his SUV over paying bills or getting needed things for his family…to the rich stuck up people who run up their credit to buy tons of unneeded shit…worried about getting the latest Jag, or what contry club they will join
while my wife was in grad school she nannied for these rich doctors & her & I were exposed to that lifestyle…going to country clubs, meeting their stuck up friends etc…its disgusting…just as much as the other extreme.
it pisses me off cause i’m the complete oposite…i could care less what people think about me…don’t like the way i dress…fuck you, don’t like what i drive…fuck you, think i’m not “in” cause i don’t have a membership to the PAA or a country club…fuck you.
i have some freinds who are on both sides of this topic, but the core group I hang out with are like me…we could care less…& i noticed that no matter how close you think you are with someone if your not on the same side of this topic you’ll never be really close friends.
i used to wash dishes in a country club that my uncle was president of. he might nod his head at me if he saw me. never wanted to be seen speaking to the help though.
