Well, the Z06 weighs 3150 lbs, while the Solstice weighs 2860. And the LS7 (458 lbs dry) doesn’t weigh that much more than the Ecotec (305 lbs). So you get a couple hundred more pounds off, without hacking the expensive aluminum structure of the Z06.
Better looking? Yes.
Still ugly as shit? Yes.
