Coming along nicely. I would assume these need bracing after the top’s cut off, even though you’re BOF. Maybe a roll hoop, tie it into the frame?
Lots of those out on the left coast, don’t see too many in WNY. Bitchin’ project

Gas tank is coming out of oregon sometime next week most likely. I have the original sitting in the passenger seat location, but it’s got a hole that’s been bondo’d up. Still leaks from what I am told.
As for the roof, I am not cutting it off. It came like that from the factory. 69-75 blazers and Jimmys were full convertible. I do need to get new torsion boxes and have them welded in. They are basically an extra rocker box/support that is there to strengthen the body when the top is off. Always rot out though due to the design.
I do have a roll bar for it, i just need to take it out, weld some feet onto it, clean it up and get it painted before I attempt to put it on. Basically just a little support should it ever go over. If I start taking it off road more then I’ll put in a better cage.
Going to be taking a break from this for a bit while I finish up some house projects, and going camping at Darien Lake this weekend with some family and friends.
very nice project, very intrested in seeing how it turns out. :wiggle:
