decided it was stayin on my car… she got fixed, fixed all my exhaust and boost leaks and she runs good now
Wish you’d have told me - I passed up another exhaust because I had committed to yours.

iirc you said in a different thread you couldnt use a catless DP because of your job… (DEC or something)… my exhaust is catless. :confused
prolly not going to that meet no… having surgery tuesday, and will be on hydros for a while.
I do work for DEC, but I would’ve gotten a StageII tune with the catless DP, and then reverted back to stock until I could afford the TurboXS Stealthback (and tweaked the map). Don’t worry about it, bud! I’m happy with the StageI tune I got.
Best of luck with the surgery - hopefully it goes well! Is it wisdom tooth removal?

Shudders at TurboXS reference
What’s so bad with TurboXS?
Their BOV are shit so I get a funny feeling when I hear that name. What do they make good? TurboXS seems to be big with the Subbie guys (not sure why?)
Lately, TurboXS’s quality has proven to be pretty well. While their BOV’s suck, and their entry-level boost controllers are nothing to call home about, their exhaust pieces, UTEC, etc… work pretty damn well.

ahh welcome to another STI owner…never really cared for sti’s untill I rode in Travis’s :banana
stock turbo sti’s are fun but they leave you wanting more… nasty grunt down low but they run out of breath up top. the vf39/43/48 they put on the stock sti is better suited for the wrx… the stock sti turbo should be something 20g sized or so imho
Fair enough. My experience has been the same: Shitty BOV and overpriced BCs. Glad to see them offer other products. Weird that most people I see using those products are Subbie guys and the SRT-4 boys.
