here’s one of my 1969 Cutlass S Convertible, right before pre-nationals. On the way to pre-nat’s my starter wire welded itself to the exhaust, and shorted tthe whole car, made it die…well I was on the way to a show, about 1 hour from my friends house, about 2 hours into my trip…I didn’t have a flash light so I couldn’t tell what was wrong by just looking…cause it was dark…had a $200 tow bill and found out thats what it was…needless to say, didn’t take it to nationals…but scored a 989 outta 1020 @ pre-nat’s: Mid-Missouri all Oldsmobile Car show 1st place trophy! Woo Hoo! Got there with 5 minutes to register!
