This is my reasoning. He paid 3xxx for the car. Hes never had anything relatively fast or even standard. Why not just enjoy the car for a year and then get something better after he graduates college (next spring). Its a cool car but dropping 2k in paint which you probably won’t get your money back for just so you can have a mint early nineties japanese fighter plane on wheels is kind of dumb. If I was him and haddd to spend money on something, I would rather make it run better/faster.
