Nissan sentra SE-R question

I’m looking into buying a 91-92 nissan sentra SE-R. in a magazine i have there is a RHD nissan sunny SE-R (sentra) in japan but i cant find too much info on it. I know there are 1.6L versions of these cars in canada, but was there ever the SR20DE SE-R model in canada?

US only i believe for a B13.

And good luck as they are uber rare

the SE-R sentra from the early 90’s were not produced in canada. So any here are imported… from the US…

They weren’t produced in the us, they are japanese made.

But what we are saying they were never sold new at dealerships in canada. So the only ones here are imported from the US

But they are pretty similar to a G20 of similar years, right? Other than G20s are four door.

They’ve been blacklisted in Canada due to something to do with the seatbelts. There are a few that have managed to make there way over but good luck finding one for sale.

more information and mods on:

the JDM nissan bluebird has the FWD sr20det. maybe ill look into an engine swap, or buy a nissan sunny from japan and have it swapped in before it leaves…or an nx2000 sr20de.

The bluebird is an awd, that’s the swap I have in my car. You can swap the sr20det into the sentra with just the ga16de, you just need to find someone in the states with a parts car to get what you need. That’s what I did to do the 5spd swap into my car.
The sr20de forums has a how to swap for the ga to sr right here:
