The manager of a suburban Pittsburgh sports bar who was fined for untying a female employee’s bikini top was acquitted on appeal.
An Allegheny County judge yesterday overturned the conviction of Mitchell L. Brewer of Plum, saying the prosecution failed to prove its case.
In December, a district judge fined Mr. Brewer, manager of the North Park Clubhouse in Robinson Township, $325 for untying the woman’s bikini top during an Aug. 1 golf outing. The woman, who was selling raffle tickets at the outing, worked at the bar’s operation in Hampton.
The woman said Brewer tried to force her to reveal her breasts to golfers at the Pittsburgh North golf course in neighboring Richland Township. She said when she refused, Brewer untied her top.
Brewer testified yesterday that he offered the woman money to take off her top.
True the original clubhouse is out on rt8 in gibsonia…right past the turnpike exit. This news is refferring to the manager of the Robinson location…where we had Pittspeed meet like a year or 2 ago.
yeah there is no point of arguing, they said its hampton, the news article is wrong, the girl might be from hampton but the bar is in richland, no biggie…
