No more Subaru for Ken Block

This.

And Block’s recent surge of popularity has mainly come from his association with Subaru. Weird to see him and that livery on a ford.

yea, and thats a big hit to Subaru considering the facetime that Block got them for “cheap”, considering that he hadn’t really done anything yet.

Will be interesting to see where this goes.

Mmmm. Yes plz :evolve:

i think there is only one subie in the running… at least on tv it shows. its a last gen model and its a private driver i think too. anyone know why there is less variety on the field?

I read an article (that I will find again and post) that was basically an interview with block. He and ford are not expecting him to win this coming season. This one is all about getting to know the car/cars. There is less variety because of the define of intrest in the
last few years. It’s not worth the major companies like Subaru to pay or sponser it.

That is a very weird blow off sound the car makes.

The variety of cars is low because I think only Ford and Fiat? are continuing sponsors. Hard economic times calls for reduced spending and sponsoring rally teams just doesn’t cut it.

Citroen.

Considering Subaru’s name was sort of built off rally racing, it was surprising they dropped out of the WRC. Hopefully they will be able to re-enter with a factory team again in the next few years if the economy rebounds enough.

At some point, someone is actually going to read what I type and realize that the rule change is what chased Subaru out of the WRC. (see: S-WRC)

don’t get your hopes up on that one…

There are a few subaru’s still in the WRC they just happened to be owned and run by private dealerships.

i would drive a ford too, if it looked and drove like that

lolz

Edit: those wheels look pretty identical to the rotas that chino just sold me… well, minus the green…

Wow, that video sucks.

The real gymkhana 3 is coming in a few weeks. Don’t you worry, it’s expected to have moar driving.

Ah okay, I was confused lol.

You have grids, which are replicas of the Volk TE37’s on Block’s Fiesta.

I’m sure you already knew that though :stuck_out_tongue:

The gymkhana’s keep coming, and the videos get worse every time. :frowning:
