HOLY SHIT HE CAN ONLY USE BASIC FUNCTIONS!!!
I had an A in Calc 1, 2, and 3 but all those years of using a calculator I really forgot some simple mathematics…
edit: I type slow

in my business Calc class, we weren’t aloud to use calculators. that guy was angry at life, i swear
A decimal is a fraction correct. And a fractional power is a root correct? So to do this right you need to be able to do roots. I doubt this can be done on a basic calculator.

word … i’m going with you cant do this on a basic calculator
:bloated:
a calculator is a fast working brain
anything done on a calculator shortens mathematical equations
a calculator gives the answer, not the written out steps which is what he needs
and then turn the 3^(6/10) into your root
10(insert square root sign)3^6
got it?
edit: this might help this might not, I didnt do the math I just typed what makes sense because I was starting to get pissed
edit 2: i mixed the 6 and 10 up in the second line but now its where they should be
HE CANNOT DO SQUARE ROOTS OR SQUARES WITH THE CALCULATOR!!!
god damn it now i have to get a fucking pencil and paper and rewind my brain 6 years cuz im pissed
I broke it down a bit for him so maybe he can break it down into his own terms
I didnt put the square root there for him to put in the calculator, I put it there so he can understand how its broken down
This is a basic “4 FUNCTION calculator”
:deadhorse2:
Now that roots are involved your pretty much screwed. Except the fact.
sorry on my moms basic calculator theres a square root function
hold on im doing it on paper as we speak
lol, i appreciate your dedication
How are you going to do a fractional root on a paper…
3^(6/10) = 3^(3/5) = __
5/27
i forgot how to do radicals

are you contributing at all?
you’re not, so unless you have some real input then STFU
i have to go so figure it out and let me know
did you really spell allowed… aloud?.. may god help us…
good luck on your test turbo
what stats class is this for?
a^b = e^( b ln a)
then expand e^ and ln into some kind of series
a lot of work but you should be able to do it by hand and with a basic calc
there is not natural log or exponential function on the calculator
