You’d be paying at LEAST $10k more for a very used Z06 compared to a 0 mile sky? Most low mileage Z06s are going for $65k-$75k, which is 20-50% more than the modified sky? Not seeing a “very close” price?

I was all excited about the sky until I sat in one… it was an instant “NEXT!” moment.

Whatever you get you should avoid being sucked into trying to be super fast in a straight line, that just complicates enjoying a car alot of times

Yup I edited my post right after I checked. You can get 06 Z’s with low mileage in the $50’s all day now though.Pretty sure they are giving GM discounts to all(at least on the corvette forums) so a base 08 Z-06 would be $64K and they are offering 0% financing as well.

You can really get an 08 Z06 for $64k? Thats pretty amazing.

WOW. 0%???

Desperation is a stinky cologne.

what does that even mean?

RE: 0% and $64K on Z06?

$64,000 is an approximate invoice. I’d add atleast another $1,000.00 onto that, for the sake of TDA’s and other stupid options to get a more realistic number.

65k @ 0% w/ Erie County sales tax = ~$1200 a month.

If it was me, and I already had an RB26 sitting around. I would do an NSX with a RB26 swap.

Nice styling, Its more unique than some of the others and the RB26 would fix that low power issue that NSX’s have.

That’s what i pay right now for 2 cars.

Selling my STi will allow me to pay off the balance of the loan on my truck, and then some.

I could swing it, but I’m not buying a new car.

because putting a long ass RB26 in a MR car would be a simple job, lol.

pfft… stroke and turbo with a powerglide on an NSX is all you need.

newman, I figured it already had a pretty sizable V6 in there. An inline maybe at a slant would fit as well.

And stuffing the Rb26 in the E30 seemed simple lol, seemed like a massive project, new dash and tranny tunnel etc.

I know that’s what you pay

I wouldn’t buy a new GM product anyways (especially a big ticket item like a Z06). $8k off a car thats going to lose $20k in the next 18 months still isn’t enough, even at 0%.

yeah, and that’s from a FR to a FR swap.

misterioman is claiming they are still all over the 50s…
