Racers’ fault. The marshals threw a waving yellow flag for at least the first time by.
How so? There is a flag they have for oil on the track…he waived a yellow flag meaning there might be some debris from a wreck in that area…unfortunately the oil was at the braking point for that turn. The rider’s wont know there is oil unless someone tells them (aka waiving the flag) or until they crash.
Yup yellow/red stripped over in europe for wet spill but not sure what it is for superbike. They keep saying blue flag, but blue in FIA means being overtaken/faster car approaching…must be different for these bike series??? '99 too…
No you heard right…but that was for the last wreck, where the two bikes collided, they weren’t waiving the blue flag so he didn’t realize the leader was about to lap him, so he never got out of the race line.
Most of those wrecks happened as a direct result of lack of instruction/action from officials.
I don’t see how you can even argue that.
