the only reason all these bikes were found was because one of the officers bikes was stolen a few days ago and he ruffed up an informant to find out where it was.

If you have a bike worth $8,000 and you get it stolen and insurance pays you the value of the bike and you go on with your life/get a new one/buy something else and then 3 months later “Oh ya, we found your bike. Here is the pieces.”
Can you say cool and keep the money and not take the bike or does the insurance company own the bike now no matter its condition since they paid you already unless you want to take it back and pay them back?

dude BPD blows, I was chasing the guy who stole my wifes truck. Called them 5 or 6 times while chasing him and they wouldnt even stay on the phone with me. Next time Ill take shit into my own hands then Ill be the one going to jail
I’m fairly certain if you get paid out on it, it’s the same as when you total a car. It is now out of your hands and belongs to the insurance company. It is their option to sell it back to you.

no theft because of a stupid ass quote from my insurance agent and lazyness on my part
no comp… if it had comp and collision and you got it backed wrecked after they made the payment. you keep the money and can buy it back. if they get it back before you were paid out on it. they have to fix it, comp covers vandalism too.
