OBX has just released individual throttle bodies for honda applications, b16/18c5, f20/22, h22a, k20. From the looks of the b-series itbs, they look like an imitation of the toda throttle bodies, which make proven power. With a price of $700, they are much cheaper than the other itbs on the market. Will this be another not-so-well constructed part, or has OBX finally stepped their game up enough to hang with the big manufacturers? Only time will tell!
itbs are pretty straight forward would be kinda hard to fuck up, only thing that could possibly be an issue is the fuel system and sensors provided in the kit
I’ve made a few sets and that is pretty competitive pricing. They do look identical to todas though. It would be nice to know runner length and diameter at the plate.
I can probably build sets of 954RR ITB’s for around 4-500 complete bolt on which are 42mm at the plate, but why not spend another 200 and get the real deal? Its going to blow up the NA market…
none of the crowd over on H-T likes itb’s, i’m feeling alot of people that don’t know what they are doing will buy them blow up there motor and then they will be for sale even cheaper on H-T
I understand ITB’s arnt for everyone… probably not for 80% of honda owners, but if you roll your skirt up and tape your floppy vagina up, then just run em.
and i dont know anyone who would buy a 1k turbo with no specs…
