AWDrifter, in your opinion what is a reasonable excuse to abort a fetus?
Also, is there an epidemic in later term abortion going on? It would seem to me that most people who have a late term abortino do it for health reasons and that those who get one earlier do it for personal reasons. The latter would seem to be far fewer.
My point wasn’t even about pro-life / pro-choice.

My point is in the cases where there is a baby on the table(or w/e) that survived the abortion process.

The only reason the baby is on the table is because if it was in mommy the full 9 months, mommy would have died, taking baby with it. The baby on the table is underdeveloped and if they made an attempt to keep it alive, it would most definitely not work, and if for some fucking strange alienated reason it did, it would be mutated looking and underdeveloped, have all sorts of problems, and die within the first few years of its life anyways.
You make it seem like they use this procedure 1 week before due date for no reason other than the mother changed her mind. Not the case, whatsoever.

The only real difference there should be in voting between republican and democrat (assuming the impossible that the candidates would actually follow their parties real principles) is which philosophy of government you believe better works.

I believe that completely free markets with very little but some regulation are better in the long run than manipulated markets with a lot of regulation.
I am not blind either, I can see why there are people on the other side of the argument, I just believe my side is the better, safer option.
My belief is that the solution to our biggest problem is to cut spending by over 50% and raise taxes to where the were before the Bush tax cuts until the national debt is under control. After that taxes can be lowered to a lower level, related directly to shrinking of the federal government. I would rather see he money in smaller local governments whether it be state, county or town because it is almost always used more efficiently and fairly that way.
It is also a hell of a lot easier to send a letter to your town mayor and complain about misused public funds than it is to send letters to congress about the same issue. Keep taxes as local as possible.
