Just because its salvage title does not mean its junk; all it takes is a tech to over-write a car and it can be totaled. I’ve done it with really shitty jobs that are more work than its worth, especially when we were busy and good jobs were plentiful. Or simply a few expensive OEM parts can add up quick and total a car out for no good reason. Most of the time used uni-sides or front clips can be found cheap and the car can be fixed properly.
The car you linked to doesnt have a body kit so I’m not sure what you are talking about. Unless you actually went and looked at it, the pictures look fine.
I am not saying that a salvage title necessarily is a huge deal, but I found the way he went about telling us about it way shady.
The pieces I am talking about are the plastic bumper, and the sideskirts (might be metal didn’t really bang on them) on the sides of the car, under the door where they meet the fenders at the front. The spacing was out of whack on a lot of those places where they are suppose to meet up and stuff like that. The engine bay covers (plastic pieces that cover everything up in these cars) inside the engine bay didn’t line up anymore either there were a lot of gaps in places that there should not be gaps.
From a distance it looks fine but when you get up and close to it, it becomes apparent.
