*OFFICIAL* Duff's Cruise Night 2009

Without reading this whole thread, I will completely back up this statement, and add that Southtowns 27 is a cool dude, and the scene now absolutely blows compared to the scene with UBRF many years ago. Onyx’s meets and etc. aside, there is nothing here anymore…

looks like a good time… Newman, did you get the $200 for the intro, lol…

no street names!!

good catch, fixed

I went to one of the newer bubble tea meets last year. pulled in with the pos turbo civic and got stared down by the entire lot lol. maybe ppl thought i was gonna start trouble or something

haha who was with us when there was some event at the Pier and there was like Gun shots and shit… then a bunch of bikers taking off I think it was summer 03.

I believe GeeHee had his red rx7 with sparking tires LOL

lol sorry, didnt realize you guys still did it. :banghead:

Yea I remember that, but it was probably '02.

Couldn’t agree with that statement more!
It’s a self entitled, self absorbed, materialistic, lack of respect, I should be given everything, generation.:meh:

they were just scared

haha word good time period right there lol.

do u also miss totally turning too fast and understeering into curbs in the snow? :roflpicard: :mamoru:

:frowning:

lol

I should have gotten out and screamed “Don’t worry, it’s just a slow POS”

When I went to leave, I had to get a jump haha

i was tryna to remember where i remembered the guy in the fox hat and the one yelling at jesse lol, they are the truck “guys”

Not to lump everyone younger (18-mid20’s) into this category. I find this to be often true. why?

It would be cool to be able to get together without the BS/Drama/Clique stuff. On the other hand -folks that know each other of course are more comfortable together. Maybe when people are out at a show/cruise/meet etc… make a point to take a minute if you recognized a member or car to introduce yourself. You can learn alot from other people due to their individual experiences. I’m in an odd spot as i’m older than most of you, I’m not old enough to sit in a lawnchair at a cruise night (way too boring IMO), and older so that i feel akward hanging out with people 20 years younger
than myself (but i’ll live/deal).It would be great to have a group/club/forum that you could lean on to help you out (working on cars, other skills etc…) there are some really varried guys on here. I’m more than happy to help anyone out as many here will atest to.
And if your at an outting and someone comes up to you dont be a dick and pre-judge them by what their internet personna is, as it rarely matches up to who they actually are.
ok end of rant

If you see a satin-black '68 Mustang fastback sitting in the lot, come on over and I’ll bullshit your ear off. I’ve only been around since '03 when 02_eclipse_gs brought me out to a BTC meet, but I’ve met a lot of good crue off here and I still love meeting people and talking cars.

I know what you mean about the pricky, clicky side though :picard:

what was that monday night pizza deal that we used to meet at out by UB? wasnt it buy one get one free or something.

lol, that reminds me of the cruise to Dennys when my DSM overheated and we had to pull over on that industrial rd on Main st. Some dude flys by us and yells some shit out the window, and Addict2boost gets in his car and chases him down, lol. 10 minutes later 2 cop cars show up and ask us wtf we were doing there, only to get the same answer 10 times in a row.

“That white Eagle Talon up there over heated while we were cruising to Dennys and we had to pull over to grab some radiator fluid and let it cool down”.

Fucking balls that was a good time :frowning:

Christophers? that magically went out of business one day

wait, you’re in town? I’ve been wanting to buy you a beer for a couple yrs now.
