For several months now we have had the opportunity to deal with Haltech and their amazing line of products.
We are now a Official Canadian Distributor, Installer and Tuner on our Dyno Dynamics chassis Dyno.
I have had the opportunity over the years to deal with Aem, haltech, Power Fc and many other stand alone systems and i must admit that the new Product line from haltech just kicks ass, so much so that i am installing the platinum sport unit in my personal rb powered S14.
Plug and Play units are available for:
Sr20det
Rb20/25/26 series engines
350z
Power FC, really old school technology, its like comparing Pentium 1 to Quad Core systems.
Power FC, You are locked down either you get L-Jetro(maf) or D-Jetro(Map) cant have both.
Power FC, No wideband oxygen sensor input, and you dont get any sort of aux outputs.
AEM, Sucks, Shitty user interface.
AEM, Map sensor is a add on external component,
AEM, You have to change the cam angle sensor disc to get reliable RPM Readings to the ems.
AEM, More expensive.
Haltech, Uses stock Cam angle disc ( THis alone show`s how much faster the processor is)
Haltech, Calibration File comes tuned for stock maf, (Haltech has internal built In map sensor)
Haltech, Wicked User interface software.
Haltech, Cheaper than AEM.
There is way more points but these are the main ones.
Ahh, I see. The picture above just made it seem as though the dash display was included in the kit. Is the dash specific to the Haltech units or is it applicable to other standalone units?
