They really don’t need to register, I just wanted to know what they were driving so we can sort out what we’re doing for classing / payout.
I may make it out w/ a buddy. Would be interested in running.
I’m presuming this has been aborted? Or there will be 4 people there…
Uh, no? Man you guys REALLY need to read threads. Between the Blown Euros thread and this… lol

LZ - quit posting negative things in event threads that you’re not going to take part in anyway.
Back on topic. To review;
- The list on the front page is simply a head count so we can work out the classing payout. It does not represent the number of people going to this.
- This isn’t pre-pay; it’s pay at the gate. So there isn’t really a need for a “who’s paid” list anyway.
I’m out nobody is going to show up…
Well, usually when there’s no talk, it means there’s no excitement. When there’s no excitement people usually don’t show. It just seems pittspeed has bailed and there is absolutely zero shit talk in the callouts thread. Afterall, the last post in there was 2 months ago.
I’ve only been on here a relatively short time, and it seems as though most folks here are late-planners. My first guess is at least 30-35 cars at this thing.
See:
Exactly. We’re 1.5 months away and it’s going to snow tonight. No one is thinking about this at the moment. Besides the fact that we started planning it 9+ months ago when typically I’ll give people about a 1 month notice.
I’ve planned more meets than I can remember and it’s always the same pattern.

BTW, for those wondering why LZ is so pissy (and I keep pulling his posts) it’s because he kept talking shit about Canadians in the NET-WIDE sections so Bing pulled his access. And since this section was the only NET-WIDE section he still had access to shit on, he’s been shooting down these meet threads.
There’s your transparency.
Instead of being a douche you could at least be transparent…
There is no hype about this event.
Nobody has any idea if anyone is actually showing which is stopping a lot of people from committing.
WHO IS ACTUALLY RACING
Nobody wants to go out there and have this be like Mighty parking lot.
i realy want to try to make this. I love trying out new tracks, however im not realy sure how ill be getting it to and from the track. If im runnin race fuel, not sure i wanna drive down on q16 at the $$ of fuel right now. and swaping fuels is just too much of a hassle. idk, ill try to have it all figured out. If someone would buy my m5 already problem would be solved.
This should be fun
I’ll trailer your car if mine isn’t done.
Day after my birthday so possibly will cruise down just to hang out.
deal.
Do I need to go smack that guy around next time I’m there?
No way mine will be done, so you can use my trailer if you want. Just find a tow vehicle.
so its been a while, but these races are still going on, right? im trying to plan the drive home now…so before i take the day(s) off, thought id double check.
Definitly still on
Yep, I was at this track on Saturday for opening day. It was OPENING DAY and there were maybe 6 different cars running the whole time. Wide open track time.
It was a BYOB day apparently as a few guys had their own coolers, but it was also;
- BYOTP (bring your own toilet paper)
- GYOS (get your own time slip)
- LMD (Launch Mulligan Day)
The track was understaffed so at the end of your trip back to the pits you needed to get out of your car and grab your own time slip from the machine. It was also “Launch Mulligan Day” so if you messed up your launch, you didn’t have to head all the way down the track and drive back around… no sir! Simply put you car in reverse and re-stage!
Amazing to watch, lol.
Track conditions were terrible. There was no prep on Saturday and as we’ve said before, it was essentially street racing. But being the first day with hardly anyone there I think they just decided not to prep.
Most of the cars were from NY actually and there was a group of Honda Boiis running 15s. There were a few dragsters with on that came in on a flatbed with a mean looking, rusty hood scoop.
Some pictures:
It doesn’t look too bad.
Someone bring some VHT.
