It’s cool that you do that with the plaques, but what if it gets rained out?
You should get blank plaques with a plexiglass cover. Then whatever award you want to hand out you can just print on your printer, cut it to size, and slide it under the plexiglass.
The dates on the plaques are mostly to show the nay-sayers that this is still happening 
They’re lazer etched so they can’t be changed, but it’s just a date and not a big deal if some act of God floods out the track that day and we move the event. The weather outlook looks great so far :tup:

more rain today and tomorrow… sat i have a wedding… sunday is supposed to be race day but i doubt that will happen.
I’m showing rain for the 29th right now, but we’re still 1.5 weeks away some I’m not worried yet.
I’m sure it will be fine. Josh, if you bring a flash drive or something similar, I’ll dump my pics and vids to you right there at the end of the day.

If you’re coming to watch, remember it’s $10 to get in.
If you’re coming to race, it’s $20. $15 of that will go into the pot to be paid out based on simple classing:
The fastest AWD, FWD & RWD cars will split the pot in 3rds. They’ll also get trophy plaques (see picture below.)
Myself and other members will be giving cars #s, recording times etc. The track owner / staff will hold onto the money until things are over.
If any of you guys who’s cars won’t be done would like to come out and help with the recording, numbering, etc. let me know and I’ll cover your entrance fee :tup:

Not that it couldn’t change another 5 times, but the weather showed rain for 5 straight days and now it shows partly sunny and 75 on Sunday with 0 precipitation :tup:
