What’d the bikes run
Bike’s were running some fast times… without helmets, lol.
I missed it every time Prior ran down the track, then he put it away. And since no PittSpeed guys made it there wasn’t anyone to beat up on 
omg that is awesome. “LUCKKKKY!!! CMON” lol
So, I’ve got to say a that this whole event was a blast for me, my little brother and my wife. Great time. Ridiculously laid back. From the time we got there, I knew it was a track that I could get into. Back when I was bracket racing my Mustang 2-3x per weekend down in East TN, the tracks I spent time at were very much like this. Tiny little outlaw place, pretty loosely run, decent people, few rules.
I think my favorite part was when we showed up. Josh was first in line outside the track, and we were right behind him. They wouldn’t let us in. Why? They hadn’t mowed the pit area. So they fired up the old Ford tractor with bush hog, and took care of that.
The rest…hard to say. I loved it, and we’re going back.
Now…for the rest of you, not including the 7 of us that actually made it there…get your damn cars out. This thing has been posted for…what, almost 7 months now? 7 cars? And don’t go saying “oh, but my car is slow.” Please, my car is slow, ran all of a 14.50, and we had a blast. Yes, I know a few more of you tried, and weren’t able to get cars together in time. I get that. But the rest of you, the ones with running cars, and no family obligations on Sunday, the rest of you need to sack up and get out there.

I’ve got GoPro video of one of his runs from my car. It’s disappeared pretty quickly.
When we picked the date originally we didn’t think late May was too soon for many members to have their cars done. But since we’ve had all this rain, no one has been super motivated to get their cars finished. Next year I’ll make sure we do our “spring” drags in June, lol.
But lets pick another date later this summer too. Sometime in July maybe?
We’re all for it. On our way back home, my wife told me that it’s time to get back into the sport.
Soooooooooo…now looking for a car a bit more suited to that sorta thing.

I’d be happy to go again. Definitely was a good time, minus the camera breaking… Hopefully I’ll have it fixed by then, if not I’ll still work to get better and more photos. Just was a bit pissed off about that and put it down to not kill my time.
You guys cannot use my sayings against me, its just not nice. lol and werent u the one walking around and riding in everyone elses cars, taking pics of everyone elses cars… take your broken camera and go stand in the weeds boiiiiiii :biglaugh: :tspry:

Next time we go I’m hoping rides with more people. Regardless, I say we go sooner then later. We can always make 2-3 appearances a year.
