«OFFICIAL» PittSpeed vs. NYSpeed 1/4 Mile Drags! May 29th *Results Post #389*

I floated this to Ken a few weeks ago

ken can trailer his car there, i will drive mine.

he told me about it last weekend, i was pumped lol.

I have a feeling this will be one of the greatest drag outtings that I’ll have experienced just because of what will be leading up to this.

I’ll do my best to make it there. This looks like fun!

my car should be back on the road for this…

if it’s ready and I can get off work, I’ll call out cougarspeed too… because I dont know what anyone else has?

that and because he has an ls3… ls3’s are gay… especially when they have a turbo on them…

You can just check out to the timeslip thread to see what buffalo people run.

I would like to make it out as long is it isn’t on the weekend of GM Carlisle. Put me in the family car class

ill be there. Not to sure what car i’ll have but Im for sure in for running people then having a beer. Well the slower cars that is

in

I’m in for foot races, watching people hit trees, miss the turn, shit talk and eat bbq.

agreed Dave

Most likely in for this.

I may be in, if I buy another car by then!

ill be in depending on the date

this is what i need to know.

If i can run my spyder with no cage…and be faster then 13.5…ill be there.

it was posted after i asked, josh said a battery tie-down and lugnuts

All that tech is IHRA/NHRA mandated shit…If the track isn’t either then tech is up to them and whatever waivers you sign.

I Know - but people get weird with convertibles…so i was hoping for a lil more clarification than, from what i got out of it, people kind of making a joke because of how the track looks. The same thing happened to me the other day when i was gonna go to a rally with some friends out in Leicester - he said they dont really have much in terms of tech…and that i would pass without problems. But when it came time to race they wouldnt let me run because it was a convertible.

This is also why i asked the question. From the pics on their website it looks like they might follow some rules+regulations from some group.

Again, im just hoping to hear some kind of definitive answer as to what the track safety is.

either way - ill probably end up going…its just id much rather take the Spyder on that long of a drive.

you could always GASP call them

LMK what they say about running a vert.
