Not worth it to do since you get a few good cars going down the track then a ton of pieces of crap / beaters that ruin any track preparation that is done.
Go on tuesdays if you want a prepped track. Wednesdays if you want to people watch.

hahaha besides some guy blowing his drive shaft in half in his Camaro/firebird. so i didnt get exactly what the car was, but i sure was laughing. lol he showed up in a car- leaving in a flatbed.
I’ve yet to make it to one of these this year. I hear that I’m not missing a whole lot.

your really not missing to much. its cool for about an hour and a 1/2 at most. then boredom kicks in and you start to wonder how people can be there for extended hours at a time. once you start to realize that every other person you walk past is a 13-15 year old and your 21, you wondering why you even came.
half the reason i go is to walk around instead of doing some of the same shit over and over with my gf. other half is because their are some decent runs that happen. then again, little johnny shows up with mommies car and races billy with his bone stock slowbalt. thats about the time i really need to leave!

a Hearse actually winning a drag race was entertaining, and broken driveshafts are always fun. But as was already mentioned, boredom set in after a while and I left early.

I raced the 5.slow and my uncle in his basket case el camnio. he was idleing in line and only had 5-8 oil PSI
