these threads always turn to garbage when people decide to live their lives a quarter mile at a time…and a trend can be noticed that 90% of all callouts/races mentioned in them don’t ever happen…ever.

i never called anyone out ftr. i’ve already stated numerous times im not street racing. and i wasn’t about to drive to rochester to do so last year and i’m CERTAINLY not this year. anybody with any sense who doesn’t live life a 1/4mile at a time would understand why
it has nothing to do with ego… i’ve raced time and time again against cars that had potential to pull me pretty good. it has to do with weighing risk against stuff that is even worth a shit
Just to clarify- I never called you out…and I dont think I did last year either. I believe that was you and Emery’s battle.
I dont live my life a quarter mile at a time or whatever some of you call it lol, but I do feel and think if you invest money into your car you might as well have some fun. Now this doesnt always mean street racing or even track racing. I do think that driving to another city (near by) for a night to hang out, check out the cars and meet new people who are car guys and have the same interests that you do IMO is not a big deal to me and I wouldnt mind going to Buff or the cuse and cruise with a handful of other Roc cars.
speedped, hes been having big talk about his 3rd gen, I dont have shit really to run him in, but ill run him in my monte carlo with the stock motor if I have too, just to see what it runs.

And yes I wouldn’t mind meeting up with some Rochester guys to cruise. In fact I’ve been thinking of cruising over with some friends to one of the two shop days coming up, although I don’t think I’d be welcome. Again though… I have some things in my life starting to take shape and I’m not going to put that to risk doing something stupid in a place I’m not familiar with
If you were refering to Em’s shop days, I dont think he would care all too much…he not the type to harbor feelings. Especially with owning a business.

So are you down to run this season or just come down for shop days and hang out? Either way is cool and I don’t think anybody would harbor any hard feelings. We all share one common interest-Cars/racing.
Anyone going to be ready opening day of NYIRP? I will be there with the neon, and I would like to find out what cars it compares too.

Tons of us from the Roch are going to be there Saturday at 11 or so, track opens at 12. Hope you buffalo guys can come! Its going to be some good weather, I want to check out everyone’s winter progress!
