Oh nos...I bought a Honda!

Fit…nope…
Civic…nope…
S2K…nope…
Hornet 919 (CB900F)…yup. Let the modding begin.

This is how it looks now…it will look different/gangster soon enough.

Anybody else ride here?

I was going to say welcome to the brotherhood…but since it wasn’t a civic…

GTFO.

i love that bike,congratz

i dont get this stuff…

is the purpose to be fast or just badass?

nice bike

it is fast. but not as fast as a sports bike.
comfortable riding position, and the naked bike style (badass) make the bike.
and it has as many cylinders and a 240

BADASSS and they use them for stunt dring aswell after a lil tune

Yeah, it’s fast, too fast…but I’ll never push the bike. I just needed a good, tourquey, comfy bike for city riding and commuting.

dyno’d it yet?

Are you going for the whole street fighter look on it?

Well, it won’t look as crazy as some out there but I’ll re-do some of the cosmetics to be a bit more “street fighter” inspired.

lol

Mmm, well I look forward to it either way, I think street fighter bikes look sick.

Post pics of this “street fighter” bike? I wanna see.

My bike will end up something like this…

^^ looks like a wanna be speed triple.
i like it. but IMO the Triumph Speed Triples are better looking

(not knocking your bike, just the black one.)

The reason they call them speed triples is cause they are triple the price

The Triumph Street Triple (and Speed Triple) are the true wannabes. A real street fighter is built, not bought.

Dan - That looks gangster, I’d love to own something like that. Good luck with the build!

AWESOME bike Dan!!! I have seen a few of those here in Europe done up real nice, you can make that thing into a nice performance bike with a serious street fighter look.

This is my baby: 2000 Honda Trans Alp XL600 V-twin

The Honda Trans alp is a Cruiser / Enduro / offroad bike. It rides just as good on dirt trails as it rides on the road. It’s got a 600cc v-twin motor wich provides nice a good amount of HP and yet it’s light enough to handle nicely around tight turns and offroad!

I love this thing especialy here in Greece because there are some awesome dirt roads we go cruising on with little jumps etc. This is the bike Honda used for years in the Dakar challenge. It’s also good on the highway, I have driven it from Athens to Thessalonika (5 hours @ an average speed of 140km/h)

These bikes were available in Canada for only a few years (1990 to 1993 I think) for some reason. When I move back I want to see if I can import it into Canada, that would be awesome because I would be like the only person with this bike!

The police in many countries in Europe use them as pursuit bikes because it seems like most people that try to run from the cops have dirt bikes and they think if they go off road or on a dirt road the police will not chace them down…wrong!
Below is a pic of 2 Police officers from the Greek Police Force riding on 2005 model Honda trans alps

My dream bike (one day!..one sweet day!)

V-MAX are sexy! love the looks for them. Theres one that usually is at mosport and its has lighting paint, and Nitrous. its older but all v-max’s have that classic style.
and yeah Triumphs are really expensive. You should’ve Tried to get one of the NEW Nortons.
