im very impressed.
Like Whitey said. I remember the block covered in oil on the floor of the old shop. I actually got used to stopping by and seeing the car in pieces.
Congrats, Jay. I can’t wait to see it run.
I was there all day… put it this way the car is baddddddddd.
Today i watched it make as much power as my old 240 made.
The kicker?
He shut it down at only 5500 RPM. :scared:
:eek4:
holy jeez
sick…sick
yeah I have a vid of that pull if jay wants it put up and someone will host it
that car has come a long fuggin way. Congrats Jay.
indeed
and also…
:eek4:
well…i drove it…got about 50 miles on it now…and i was about freezing cold because it doesn’t have a heater anymore. i’m gonna try and work on that come spring. it has a lot more tuning that needs done, i need to basically go completely through my map that i have on the AEM and start fresh, but all in all, pretty good so far. it definitely needs more boost and a 9500 rpm redline…it’s just starting to get fun when i was shutting it down. it’s a pretty weird motor overall though. i guess thing loves gigantic cams and large turbos, both of which i really didn’t do. i only put 264 cams and the 35r really isn’t that big. ohh well…at least it runs again…still have a million bugs to work out though.
Your my hero.
Sorry agian about destroying it a couple years back.
it truly does look awesome jay I can’t wait to see that “show” car finalyl run
thanks! you ready to do pats cage soon in chromoly?
