Oil filter relocation kit

I received my filter kit this week and installed it. Believe me, working on this car is a pain in the ass! It’s time to get a nice oil filter now that everyone can see it

My intercooler piping just arrived today, so hopefully I’ll get that installed before I head out tonight.

or you could just buy a couple oil filters and spray paint them gold to match and use them when you need. might add some nice color to your engine bay

Hey man. I am pretty sure I met you on SCC Calgary. Keep up the work!!!

Nice floor matts btw!

Yep I remember you Allen  Yesterday I was actually considering painging an oil filter, all I would need is some high-heat engine paint. Just another little project to keep me busy…

the metal used on those fram filters are so thin they would sometimes dent just putting them on

go get an oem nissan filter

How much for the kit? I will be puting one on my SR this spring.

Yep I have a couple OEM ones on the way…

It’s a BNR32-specific kit, it was about $140 plus shipping. I’m sure you can find a generic kit, or maybe even one specifically for your car. It’s a Trust/GReddy kit, and came with the bracket to mount it to the stock bolt holes.

Thats a good price!

Yeah customs opened my package to rummage through it and charged me an $8 fee for that, and GST and other fees… Bastards!

you didn’t get a 30 Japan fee from UPS, those bastards. Happened to me when I bought my JDM front turn signals from a guy in the US, god I hate UPS!!

EMS is the way to go man! I get stuff from Japan in ~8 days. I wouldn’t ship with anything else… except Greyhound when shipping within Canada, they’ve been good to me.
