I’ve been hearing good reviews of their meat quality. I found this deal on msn.com, it ends Dec. 7. I plan to get this for my parents for xmas, figured i’d give you guys a heads up on it too.

WE deal with omaha Steaks. The quality is definately good.
in my experience with them, the cuts aren’t quite big as I’d like but the quality is fantastic - tender, low fat, great color, and they taste great.
who is we who is we!

My dad is a meat dealer - lol that sounds funny - but he pretty much owns a meat distribution place in Hunts Point, NY.
According to him :
Omaha steaks is definately top notch, but not for the money. A little overpriced. But I guess the name and the “style” of steak (mail order) is what you pay for. But definately not a bad steak.
HOly shit that is a good deal. I supposed I’m going to have to order it.

5oz a steak is like the size of a potato, fuck id have to eat all of them just to fill up
most of the (shitty) chain joints sell 5-8oz portions… for a relative price.
oh, and of course the extra 8 burgers, and “cutlery set” thrown in.
but hey, I’m just in it for the dry-ice.
we got 2 of those combo packages as gifts awhile back. everything i had was pretty good.
those people wont stop calling our house now.
HAHAHHAHAH
My best friends Uncle is a dealer for them
Absolutly amazing quality
He gives them free steaks, roasts, pork chops pretty much anything, things are soooooo damned delicious!
only ponderosa sells them that small, i think even outback has nothign under 5oz.
now the chop house is another story
The company I was formerly employed with sent that package out to us every holiday season and I can say that it was always good quality food. I love steak…but normally rest. prepared and delicious…but this stuff was/is great.

A good way to find great meat is to interact with your butcher, ask question etc.
