There is NO WAY that car is overrated. You can do ANYTHING with those cars. Not only do they look drop dead sexy, but the absolute INSANE power you can get from those motors is simply amazing. If I wasn’t so damn broke, and young I would own one no questions asked. Also did anyone happen to notice it’s a Vspec? Even more pimp.

Okay, here’s my take to elaborate from earlier:
Skyline’s are very impressive cars. The combination of handling and power out of the box is impressive, especially when you consider how much they go for… in Japan. However, after going through all the bullshit to import one to the US, you’re paying more than twice what the car is actually worth.
Yes, the RB26 bottom end can handle upwards of 1000HP stock, as can the 2JZ. The Skyline was a supercar of the time and built to withstand more abuse than most people give themselves when they see one. Yes, the ATTESA AWD system is probably one of the best AWD systems conceived and implemented in a car. Put that together with the RB26 and you have a very impressive package. The styling of the car is superb and it would take more ricer parts than Pepboys and Advanced sell to make it look bad. Would I pass up the oppurtunity to drive/own one, probably not. But I wouldn’t spend that much money on one.
Overall though, I just feel that I, personally, would be happier spending that amount of money on a project of my own and have something that is truely one-of-a-kind instead of something that will make people go “Oh my GOD… A SKYLINE!!!” fap fap fap

They are damn cool cars and for someone to bitch they weigh alot, don’t MOST cars? Evo’s are like 3400… Sti is probably around the same, shit my car weighs high 2900’s.
