:crackup OMGF!!! LOLZ!!!

OMGFBFCOTFTW COME ON PEOPLE!
;Dyou knew that was coming, didnt you? :lmao

I’m confused…who’s here from OT?
no, never thought anyone would say something like that. bmw is a better built car, hands down.

idk, i tried driving those. didnt feel as nice for some reason

uhh what vw are we talking about here? the phaeton? :rofl

nah, i never tried a phaeton. from reading about the specs on it, its an A8 for the most part. The new CC is basically the same thing. it’ll be interesting to see how their sales move along on the USDM. i basically had a spin in damn near everything Langan has in their lot, cept the RS4 or the S8. I havent driven many dubs though. I tried an 02 GTI, the new GTI and an R32. the R32 is a blast to drive, I wonder how modded ones feel drivin around. When i say VAG cars i mean VW, Audi, Porsche, Seat, Skoda, Bentley, Lambo etc. as in the whole lineup of em, not just a VW car.

Audi = VW. You’ve driven a Passat because you own one.

omg audi interior’s= :nod

my aunt’s allroad makes me cream my pants every time i get in, I’m fascinated by her door panels :rofl

Don’t make naive blanket statements like that. Then throwing Porsche, Bentley and Lambo in the mix? Come on, just because they are owned by the same parent company doesn’t mean they have any business in this discussion. Comparing a BMW to any comparable VW/Audi, I’d take the BMW all day long.

vag isn’t what it used to be when it was autounion a LONG time ago.

the feel of some of the above mentioned cars like the audi s line, r32, etc. is on point. all awesome cars, no doubt about it.

for the price of some of the lower models like the gti, its a great buy, i agree.

there is just something about bmw’s… i work on all kinds of cars, and they just astound me with they’re construction, attention to detail, etc.

they downright cater to a performance enthusiast, while still providing comfort, and top notch styling.

i love my vw, but its so much less refined then my bimmer.

are BMW’s as crammed under the hood as audis? i swear you have to take apart the front end on my car just change headlights.

i suppose, its pretty close. do they have an awd passat? do they feel the same as far as ride feel goes?

depends on what youre doing…changing the waterpump/cooling shit? easyy

changing the starter… :headbang :angry2

Threaded hole starter = worth the $. Or else, you’re taking off the manifold.

Btw, your foglights are misaligned in your sig picture. :shifty

not my car in the sig :shifty

and i’m had threaded holes but took the intake mani off anyways :shifty

and then realized i had to go in from underneath to get to the bolts anyways…why, why couldnt they just give a LITTLE more room between the tranny and firewall?! oh well, made a 2 hour job a multiple day job…story of my life

I was at Inline when Dave was working on the exhaust and he had a tough time gettin the downpipes out. Its all super tight. i was really hoping we wouldnt have to take apart the nose on the car to get to stuff under the hood. i can only imagine what its like to swap intercoolers and piping in there. ugh. i remember looking at Shawns car, same thing. no room under that hood either

i want my car back so i can find a 1series… are they in production here yet?

yup as benny said it has to do with the job you are doing, and what model you are working on. each car has its “cheater” methods. i can take a complete mk1/2/3 front end off very quickly to facilitate some of the work, where as a bmw front fascia has a few more fasteners holding it. just an example though. they are all fairly straightforward to work on.

theyve been in production for over a year now i think

theyll be being sold in the states starting a few months from now iirc…

:wow i want a 1 series, maybe i’ll take all my gradumation and sell my vdub and buy one, but more than likely i’ll just wait and save for a year or two and keep my vdub and build it after i buy a bimmer :ninja
