thats awesome!

Nascar would be worth watching if they held a race in downtown NYC.

wow that is very kool  but I still hate nascar :stuck_out_tongue:

the same would be true for pretty much every motorsport.

i was late to work because someone on my line got hit by a train so i got to see this. apparently i’m like next door to nascar’s nyc office

Victory Lap a thrill for New Yorkers … Wednesday morning’s “NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series Victory Lap presented by Sprint” is the second running of this unique event, which was first staged in 2004. The top 10 drivers will get in uniform and drive their show cars across town. The route begins at Rockefeller Center, cutting through Times Square and several side streets before driving up 375 Park Avenue to the finish line in front of NASCAR’s New York office. The event will be televised live on The Today Show on NBC, where hosts Anne Curry and Al Roker will join in the festivities. Curry will ride shotgun in Tony Stewart’s show car, while Roker will give the command for drivers to start their engines and begin their memorable ride. The Today Show’s coverage begins at 9 a.m. (ET) with the Victory Lap scheduled to roll off at 9:15. Fan viewing areas are setup between 6th Avenue and 7th Avenue (on the south side), between 46th Street and 47th Street (on the west side), at Bryant Park between 5th and 6th Avenues and between 47th and 48th (on the east side).

Did they let Kurt Bush drive?

 :lolsign:

that looks pretty cool, it had to be weird for people who had no idea what was going on to see a nascar car running down the street

you’d be surprised what you can ignore in nyc

we started the AKA rally in times square, sped, drifted, peeled out, etc… no one even looked.

Yes they did, but he is still a douchebag.

Although he only blew .017 and was only charged with reckless driving, we had him pulled out of the car because he is an embarassment to his team and sponsors.

For anyone who cares, Jamie McMurray will be replacing Kurt Busch next year and the car number has changed from 97 to 26.

Here’s a rendering we had made up of our new car.

Now they gotta change that big ass truck u brought to Taffy’s too

We have peeled off the Busch graphics, no biggie. We are also going to get the new RXT truck which is a bit smaller but still f’in huge. Much nicer to drive.

Thats kinda cool!! Good thing the photo op was on a left turn, who knows how many people could have been injured if they attempted a right.
